Did you like your book, and would you recommend it to someone?

I did like the book Maximum Ride. I would like to read the next book School's out-forever. They also have a third book called Saving The World And Other Extreme Sports.

If you could rewrite anything about your book what would it be and why?

Well lets see. If I had to change a part in the book I think it would have to be when the Mutant Erasers kidnap Angel, I don't think they should have done that. If they wanted to they should have kidnap one of the others instead of the littlest one out of the gang.

So what else I have read in the past few days is that Max, Fang, and Nudge are stuck at the School. The Mutants Erasers took Angel out of the school and left her gang there. Angel was screaming and crying, she tried to get away but she could not get away. The Mutants were to strong for her. They took Angel to the tree house. They sat her on the table and locked the door so she couldn't leave. One of the Scientists were getting ready to put Angel asleep so they could do some work on her. She was so scared that she kept shivering and shaking. The Scientist gave Angel a shot that is suppose to make her go to sleep, but it took her a long time to fall asleep. She was really tired and wanted to fall asleep, but she knew what they wanted to do to her, so she tried staying awake, but she couldn't. The Scientist started to work on Angel.

Max, Fang, and Nudge got out of the School. They had to bust threw one of the windows that the Mutants forgot to lock. They were on there way to the tree house to go rescue Angel. They were hoping she is okay. Max started crying cause she was so worried about Angel. If Angel was not okay, Max would have a hard time living. Max has taken care of Angel since she was a baby. Max is basically Angel's mom. Max and her gang all took care of each other. Fang and Nudge were tired and didn't think they could fly anymore at the moment, but Max made them. Max didn't want to loose her little baby. They were almost at the tree house. Max, Fang, and Nudge could hear the Scientists evil laugh. Max knew Angel was in trouble, and they had to hurry. Max could see threw the window that Angel was asleep and couldn't move. The Scientist had a knife about ready to cut Angel on the stomach. Fang knocked the door down and crabbed Angel from the table. Max and Nudge followed Fang into the tree house. The Scientists tried to get Fang but he was already gone. Max and Nudge were right behind Fang. The Scientists were shocked, and didn't do anything except just stand there and looked out the window.

So far what I have read is that Angel got kidnapped by the Mutant Erasers. The Mutants took Angel to the School, which the School is where the scientists had made Angel and now they want to take her brain out. Fang, Nudge, and Max went to go rescue Angel from the School. When Fang, Nudge, and Max get to the School they saw that Angel was locked up in A dog kennel. Angel was scared and cold. Max tried to go get her out of the kennel, but is was locked and the Scientists were coming her way. Max runs behind a box where Fang was. Nudge was behind the box with Fang also, they were all scared, and just wanted to get out of there, but they knew they had to rescue Angel before they left. When the Scientists come they take Angel out of her kennel and set here on the table. She tries to run away, but they strap her down to the table. The Mutant Erasers could smell that Fang, Nudge, and Max were there. The Mutants go sniff around the place. Fang, Nudge, and Max split up. One of the Mutants found Fang. Fang went running, but the Mutants had guns, so Fang, Nudge, and Max were in trouble. Fang, Nudge and Max tried escaping through the door, but the Mutants locked the door. Fang got thrown at the wall. He tried getting up but he couldn't get up.

This book is part of a series. There are many questions. I have a few quetsions. Why does the Scientists want to take Angel's brains out? If the Scientists discovered Max and her gang why would he want to distroy them? Will Max, Fang, and Nudge ever get Angel free? Will Angel be able to see her family again?

Describe the setting- include location, time period, and socioeconomic characteristics. Max and her friends use to live at a stinking cesspool of evil called the School, they were created by scientists. The scientists grafted avian DNA onto there human genes. The school is the Death Valley. Max and her friends ran away and now live in the mountains called Sangre de Cristo. They are poor. They barely have no food, they have to go out and find food.

Now that I'm farther in the book I know a lot of the characters. Some of the characters that I know are the Gasman, Iggy, Nudge, the Earsers, Max, and Angel. The main character of this book is Max and her real name is Maximum Ride.

Max is the oldest. She is fourteen years old. She's the one who has to protect her gang from there enemies the Erasers.

Fang is ten years old. He can fly very well.

Nudge is eleven. She is sisters with Angel. Nudge likes to help out with the little kids.

The Gasman has blue eyes rounded and trusting. Everybody calls him Gazzy. he is eight years old.

Iggy is six years old and blind.

Angel is the youngest of the gang. She always likes small cozy places. Her bed is tucked behind a curtain, like a nest. She has stuffed animals, books, and mostly all of her clothes on the bed also.

The Erasers are the half-men, half-wolves who kidnap Angel.

Does the author use a direct or indirect method of revealing the character? So far I think the author reveals the characters by there actions.

Maximum Ride

I chose to read the book called "Maximum Ride" by: James Patterson. This book is about an angel experiment. Her name is Max, she's 98% human 2% bird. The girl can fly. Max has to protect the rest of her gang- Fang, Iggy, Nudge, the Gasman, and Angel- from a pack of half-wolf, half-human mutants with a taste for flying humans.
